Glendora remained in a three-way tie atop the Palomares League standings on Thursday.

The Tartans claimed an 8-1 victory at Colony.

John Nolan got the win after going five innings and allowing just one run on six hits.

Nolan didn’t issue a walk and struck out eight.

Michael Moses provided two perfect innings of relief, including three strikeouts.

Connor Rangel went 3-for-3 with a double and an RBI.

Carlos Barba doubled and scored.

Mac Willis was roughed up for seven runs on six hits over 4 1/3 innings.

Willis walked four and struck out six GHS batters.

Brandon Kiesendahl and Tyler Obert doubled and drove in two runs apiece.
