Alverno Heights Academy improved to 3-0 in Camino Real League play thanks to Thursday’s 5-4 victory over St. Genevieve.
Trinity Godson got the win.
Godson went the distance, allowing four runs on seven hits.
She walked seven and struck out 12 St. Genevieve batters.
Offensively, Godson helped herself by going 3-for-4 with a double and run scored.
Alyssa Marquez doubled and drove in a pair of runs.
Destinee Kaya singled, tripled, had one RBI and scored twice.
Andrea Mercado doubled and scored.
Sofie Ocana singled and scored.
Up next: AHA visits Poly today (Friday) at 3:30 in a nonleague contest.
