Boys Golf:
One day after an eight-stroke victory over Claremont, the Wolfpack struck back and defeated GHS, 192-198, at Marshall Canyon.
GHS and CHS will share the league championship, but the Tartans get the automatic CIF-SS bid thanks to a two-stroke advantage this week.
Leading scorers included Carter Gauthier, who finished with a career-best round of 37.
Will Browne’s 38 was his best performance in 2022.
Other Glendora scores included: Casey Gerber (39), Keefe Pantayatiwong (41), Andrew Gahshan (43), and Ashtin Mount (43).
Glendora finished the regular season with an overall record of 13-2, and a 9-1 mark in Palomares League matches.
Up next: GHS moves on to Monday’s League Prelim Tournament at Western Hills Country Club.
