Volleyball:
San Dimas capped off a flawless league campaign on Monday night.
The Saints secured a three-game sweep over South Hills.
SDHS won by scores of 26-24, 25-14 and 25-15.
The win secured an undefeated (10-0) run to a Hacienda League championship.
South Hills brought heavy pressure in the opening set, pushing San Dimas to the brink.
However, the Saints demonstrated their signature late-set composure, edging out a 26-24 win in extra points.
From there, San Dimas took complete control, dominating the second and third frames with crisp passing and aggressive serving to complete the 3–0 sweep.
With the victory, San Dimas has now won nine consecutive league championships across both the Valle Vista and Hacienda Leagues—an incredible streak of dominance that includes going undefeated in league play in three of the last four years.
The championship-clinching win featured a remarkably balanced attack from the Saints’ core rotation:
Neriah Bobadilla posted another stellar double-double to lead the defense and attack, recording 9 kills and 13 digs.
Kalissa Disney orchestrated the offense with precision, dishing out a game-high 22 assists while adding 9 digs and 4 aces behind the serve.
Violet Robertson locked down the middle with 7 kills.
Emilia Chiappone and Taylor Smith provided consistent firepower on the wings, chipping in 6 kills apiece, with Smith adding 9 assists.
Juliana Picazo contributed heavily on both ends of the floor, finishing with 5 kills and 5 digs.
Having secured league gold without dropping a single match, San Dimas turns its attention to the postseason.
