Although there was no doubt it was going to happen, Bonita officially wrapped up the outright Palomares League championship on Tuesday.
The Bearcats defeated visiting Alta Loma, 7-3, which gave BHS an insurmountable two-game lead (over Ayala) with just one to play.
Seth Wrightstone went six innings and allowed three runs on five hits.
Wrightstone walked one and struck out four ALHS batters.
Jacob Clark got the final two outs, including two via strikeout.
Dakodah Kinsley walked, singled, scored twice and hit a solo HR.
