Baseball:
Arcadia made short work of visiting Glendale on Monday afternoon.
The Apaches pounded out 12 hits and defeated the Nitros, 17-0, in a five-inning, mercy-rule victory.
Daniel Chavez went 1 1/3 innings, allowing two hits, walking none and fanning a pair of Glendale batters.
Lance Wong provided one inning of relief with no hits, walks or strikeouts.
And Jack Esguerra went two innings, surrendering no hits, walking two and getting five of his six outs via strikeout.
Offensively, Arcadia out-hit Glendale, 12-2.
Alex Dolan walked, singled, doubled and scored three runs.
Devon Eskridge singled, doubled, scored three runs and had an RBI.
Mikey Easter walked, singled, drove in two runs and scored twice.
Hunter Victorio had a two-run double.
Julian Eskridge walked twice, singled and scored a pair of runs and Brandon Nguyen singled and had three RBIs.
Jack Esguerra went 2-for-4, scored twice and drove in two runs.
Matthew McIntire walked twice, singled and scored.
Ari Nurhadi walked, doubled, scored and drove in a run.
Lance Wong walked twice and scored both times.
