Baseball:

The Ayala baseball program continues to get solid outings on the mound from its pitching staff.

And because of that, they continue to win.

The Bulldogs got six strong innings from Thomas Cerecedes and defeated Claremont, 7-1, in a Palomares League contest.

Cerecedes surrendered just an unearned run on three hits.

He didn’t walk a batter and fanned four.

Nico Masucci got the final three outs, including two via strikeout.

The win improves Cerecedes personal record to 3-0, just like his teammate, Andreas Pasillas.

Kody Johnson singled twice for the Wolfpack and Gavin Eddy scored their run.

Aiden Ross was stuck with the loss.

He went three innings, allowing seven runs (three earned) on six hits.

Jacob Badawi singled, scored and drove in a pair of runs.

Cole Koniarsky, Luke Solis, Ryan Moreno and Damien Delgadillo singled, scored and drove in a run.

Mateo Matthews had an RBI double and scored once for Ayala.
