Jacobson, Smith & Clark Combine for 54 Points; GHS Defeats Oak Hills, 74-56, Extend Win Streak to 7 Games

Boys Basketball:

After an 0-2 start to the 2021 season, GHS has now won seven consecutive games.

Glendora took a 13-point lead into the second quarter and claimed a 74-56 victory over Oak Hills.

And the Tartans got a balanced effort.

Luke Jacobson had 19 points, 13 rebounds and two assists.

Noah Smith added 19 points and five assists.

Austin Clark finished with 16 points and a pair of assists.

Michael Miller led Oak Hills with 19 points, Semaj Blocker had 14 and Garrett Johnson chipped in with 11 points for the Bulldogs.

GHS got seven points, seven rebounds and five assists from Jack Anderson.

Ayden Green had five points and two assists and Amare Bigornia chipped in with six points for Glendora.

Up next: GHS will host Los Osos tomorrow (Tuesday) at 6:30.

Glendora coach, Gordon Hamlow: “I’m really happy with where we are right now. We’re playing well, the guys are moving the ball and we have really good chemistry. We have a few more games this week and then we start league play next week. If there was one thing I’d like most to see us improve upon, it would be our defense, but then again, I always feel that way each season.”
