Baseball:

San Dimas picked up a quality 7-3 victory on Saturday night, defeating SGV power, Crescenta Valley, and standout pitcher, Noah Maddox.

Matt DesMarets picked up his second win of the year for the Saints.

He went the first four innings, allowing three runs on three hits, walking one and fanning a pair of Falcons’ batters.

Matt Romero closed out CV with three scoreless and hitless innings of relief.

Romero walked two and struck out three.

Noah Maddox was stuck with the loss for the Falcons.

Matt Rice singled and hit a two-run shot in the first inning to give San Dimas a 2-0 lead.

Rice finished with three RBIs.

Ryder Young singled, scored twice and hit his first career varsity home run, which was a two-run shot.

TJ Pardus had two singles, a run scored and an RBI in the win.
