Boys Basketball:
Glendora used a 16-point, second-half surge to win the Gary Prestesater Classic (San Dimas Tournament) on Saturday night.
The Tartans defeated Diamond Bar, 64-59, and extended their win streak to four games.
GHS overcame an 11-point deficit at the half.
Noah Smith earned the tournament MVP.
Smith had 28 points and seven assists.
Luke Jacobson finished with 20 points and seven rebounds, and was selected first-team, all-tournament.
Braydon Wooldridge made the all-tournament team, and on Saturday, the GHS senior scored four points and had two boards.
Ayden Green chipped in with four points and eight rebounds.
Diamond Bar’s Malcolm Bell and Richi Calimag represented the Brahmas on the all-tournament team.
Bell tied Glendora’s Smith with a game-high 28 points.
And Calimag added 13 points for DBHS.
