Harlem Castro contributed 26 digs.

Quotable:
Marshall coach, Fred Nash: “Today’s match was a crucial match for us. We have been in a slump and was struggling to find our way. The girls came out a little flat in the first match but the energy was different, it wasn’t the energy of defeat after losing the first set it was more of hey what are we doing and let’s play our game. Once we started the second set, it was a battle with lots of rallies and from both sides, and great defense. We started to pull away in the second led by senior outside hitter Livsey Teems who tallied 12 kills and Sr Setter Ashley Dominguez with 23 assists and 20 digs. We also had a standout player who did it quietly on the offensive side, Asha Kohli-Lynch, who came away with six kills. On the other end of the game, our defense who was led by senior Harlem Castro who tallied 26 digs, but she wasn’t alone our underclassman freshman, Aida Movsisyan, who tallied 18 digs and Shanelle Mangubat totaled 10 digs.”
