Michael Mendoza got all three of his outs in the bottom of the fifth via strikeout.
CJ Carrillo and Logan Dwyer had one hit apiece for the Wildcats.
Jose Valadez got the loss after allowing nine runs (seven earned) on nine hits and three walks over three innings.
Jaime Gallardo walked, scored twice and had a three-run double.
Ezekiel Martinez doubled, scored and drove in a run on a sac fly.
Noah Martinez singled and scored a pair of runs.
Isaiah Benavidez walked and scored.
Jayden Chagollan went 2-for-2 with a walk, two runs and an RBI.

If Wilson were to upset Covina on Tuesday, the Vikings would catch the Colts in the standing, and they’d get the No. 2 seed because of their two-game sweep over CHS.
