Flag Football:
For the second consecutive playoff game, the San Dimas flag football program scored 19 points.
And for the second consecutive time, the Saints walked off the field as the winner.
On Tuesday, SDHS opened the CIF-SS Division 3 playoffs with a 19-13 victory at Westminster.
Fast forward four days, and San Dimas controlled throughout its 19-6 triumph over Highland High School.
Audrey Schlim completed 12-of-24 for 185 yards.
Schlim tossed a pair of TDs and interceptions.
Lei’ani Jaime led the San Dimas ground game with 53 yards on nine carries.
Jaime also caught three passes for 16 yards and one TD.
Ashley Sandmark had four receptions for 76 yards, which included a 27-yard TD catch.
Faith Kearns also caught four passes and totaled 75 receiving yards.
Anelly Alba had a pair of receptions for 22 yards.
Jaime picked two passes, and she put the game on ice with a 10-yard pick-six.
Ava Mercado led the SDHS defense with six tackles.
Faith Kearns had five flag pulls, while Ashley Sandmark and Natalya Gardea tallied four tackles apiece.
Up next: The Saints will face off with Troy on Tuesday at 5.
The Warriors (14-3-3) defeated Valencia of Placentia, 16-6, on Saturday.
