Volleyball:
The 2026 season has been a rollercoaster for the young Etiwanda volleyball program.
However, with that said, the Lady Eagles ended the first half of Baseline League play just one-game back of first-half Los Osos.
On Monday, EHS defeated their visitors from Rancho Cucamonga in four games.
Etiwanda won by scores of 25-22, 24-26, 25-18 and 25-18.
It was a special night for senior, Lauren Furnald.
The Westmont College commit led the offensive attack with 20 kills, 17 digs and three aces.
Earlier this season, Furnald became the first player in Eagles history to surpass 1,000 career kills.
Tonight, she reached the 1,000 career digs plateau, which puts her in very elite company in state history.
London Williams provided 23 assists, eight digs and four aces.
Kamryn Andrews chipped in with 21 assists and six aces.
Janae Childs finished with 11 kills and seven digs.
Kaila Nassar contributed 10 kills in the win.
Rylee Welcome added nine kills and eight digs.
