Girls Volleyball:
Etiwanda will enter the CIF-SS playoffs next week on the highest of notes.
The Eagles have won 12 consecutive matches and 21 of their last 22.
Thanks to Wednesday’s sweep of visiting Los Osos, EHS secured its first 10-0 Baseline League run in school history.
And their 27 match wins in 2024 is an all-time best.
As mentioned, EHS swept LOHS by scores of 25-16, 25-18 and 25-16.
Etiwanda won 30 of the 32 Baseline League sets they played.
Nina Hemsley had a match-high 14 kills to go with four aces.
Lauren Furnald contributed 11 kills.
Brooke Hansen chipped in with 33 assists, and Janae Childs provided eight aces.
Up next: The Baseline League qualifiers will get their first-round playoff opponent on Saturday morning at 10.
