Flag Football:
In the first two games in school history, the Bonita flag football program destroyed an opponent by the same exact score.
On Tuesday, BHS left Don Lugo with a 47-0 victory.
And one night later, in their home opener, Bonita trounced Sierra Vista, 47-0, to improve to 2-0.
The Bearcats led 34-0 at the half.
Tressa Beatty completed 14 of her 20 passes for 203 yards.
And that included four TD passes and no interceptions.
BHS rushed for 130 yards on six carries
Marley Flores (59) and Haley Kurey (44) accounted for 103 yards on the ground.
Laney Sweeney caught three passes for 63 yards.
Kody McKinney had three receptions for 36 yards and one TD.
Brianna Sandmark reeled in two passes for 25 yards and one score.
Malia Misawa caught an 11-yard TD pass from Beatty.
The Bonita defense picked off four passes and three went for pick-sixes.
Malia Misawa, Simone Washington and Hayden Andrew had one pick-six apiece.
Marley Flores also picked off a pass in Wednesday’s win.
