Girls Basketball:
Glendora opened the Covina Tournament with a 59-25 victory over Marshall Fundamental.
The Tartans led 54-9 as they headed into the fourth period.
Brianna Gomez had a hot shooting night.
Gomez hit six 3-pointers, and she finished with a game-high 20 points.
Rylie Anderson chipped in with 17 points, and that included three 3-pointers.
Lily Stowell contributed six points and Kamryn Kuo had five points in Tuesday’s win.
Jolynn Alibar and Madelyn Degooyer led the Eagles with six points apiece.
Up next: GHS will face Walnut tonight (Wednesday) at 6:30.
The Mustangs (5-3) defeated Covina, 53-43, on Tuesday.
