Tressa Beatty Hits Four 3’s & Scores 16 Points in Bonita’s 46-34 Palomares League Victory Over Ayala

Girls Basketball:

Bonita did its part in staying within reach of first-place Glendora and Claremont.

The Bearcats used a 25-15 run in the second half to pull away from Ayala, 46-34, on Wednesday evening.

With three games to play, the Bearcats trail GHS and CHS by one-game.

And BHS faces the Wolfpack and Tartans in their next two games, respectively.

The star of the game was Tressa Beatty, who scored a team-high 16 points.

Beatty made all four of Bonita’s 3-pointers, and scored 14 of her 16 points in the decisive second half.

Serenity Henderson had nine for BHS, and Brooke Van Duyne provided eight points in the win.

Ayala’s Emily Cruz had a game-high 18 points.

Addison Gonzalez scored 10 for the Bulldogs, including a pair of 3-pointers.
