Girls Basketball:
On Friday evening, Claremont was able to pay Glendora back for a December 22nd home loss.
The Lady Wolfpack traveled to GHS and edged the Tartans, 41-40, and caught Glendora atop the Palomares League standings.
With four league games to play, GHS and CHS are tied for first and Bonita is just one-game back.
Claremont got out to a 25-17 lead at the half and just held off the Tartans.
Chloe Ogamba had 14 for the Wolfpack and nine of Maryah Anderson’s 11 points came from beyond the 3-point line.
Reagan Herrmann led GHS and all scorers with 16 points.
Hailey Schaffer chipped in with 12 points.
