Girls Basketball:
Rio Hondo Prep all but put Rosemead away in the first eight minutes of Wednesday’s nonleague showdown with Rosemead.
The Kares led 18-0 after the first quarter and defeated the Panthers, 46-14, to improve to 10-2.
Reagan Johnson actually outscored Rosemead, 19-14.
Johnson hit four 3-pointers.
Emma Carson had a big game with 12 points.
Annabelle Vo had eight of Rosemead’s 14 points.
Up next: RHP will host Immaculate Heart next Tuesday evening.
