Boys Volleyball:
The remarkable 2022 run for the Upland boys volleyball program continued on Saturday.
The Highlanders went 4-1 at the Tesoro Tournament in South Orange County.
Upland defeated Capistrano Valley (2-1), Trabuco Hills (2-0) and JSerra (2-0).
After a 0-2 loss to Beckman in their fourth match, UHS closed out the day with a 2-0 victory over Santa Margarita.

The Highlanders were led by Jordan Lucas, who totaled 46 kills, and Cian Slade had 38 kills and eight blocks.
Kai Vogel contributed 28 kills and four aces, Jaden Kodongan distributed 80 assists and Joey Chute had 23 digs.
Up next: Upland (17-1) will battle San Clemente (10-9) in Monday’s semifinal round.
