Flag Football:
Glendora opened the 2026 season with a 36-0 beatdown over their visitors from Temple City.
Not only did the offense shine on Monday, the GHS defense included eight sacks and a pick-six.
Sophomore wide receiver Siena Bobadilla totaled three receptions for 76 yards.
That included three TD catches, and she tallied 43 yards on punt returns.
Junior Riley Franks completed 11-of-21 for 156 yards.
She tossed four TDs and was picked once.
Along with the three scores to Bobadilla, Franks also found Maya Ixco for another.
Olivia Schitea caught four passes for 38 yards.
Avery Laing carried the ball four times for 37, and she totaled 27 punt return yards.
Naiya Rosario led the Tartans defense with seven flag pulls and four sacks.
Jayden Martinez picked a pass and brought it back for a score.
Up next: The Tartans travel to COHS on Wednesday at 4:30.
