Baseball:
Etiwanda dropped a 19-5 Baseline League beatdown on their visitors from Los Osos.
With the game tied at 1-1, the Eagles scored nine times in the bottom of the second inning to pull away.
EHS out-hit LOHS, 17-6, including a 5-3 advantage in extra-base hits.
Jordan Mejico got roughed up for nine runs on nine hits over 1 2/3 innings.
Mejico issued one walk and fanned a pair of EHS batters.
Avery Cube was charged for eight runs (four earned) on five hits and three walks over 2 1/3 innings.
All nine Etiwanda starters had at least one hit and scored, and eight of the nine drove in at least one run.
Angel Mejia had a monster game, going 3-for-5 with two runs and seven RBIs.
Mejia had an RBI single, a two-run double and a grand slam.
Nathan Perez walked, doubled twice, scored and drove in a pair of runs.
James Milam singled three times and he scored three runs.
Frank Gonzales walked and hit a three-run HR.
Luke Severns went 2-for-3 with a walk, three runs and an RBI.
Adam Ornelas walked, singled twice, scored four times and drove in one run.
LJ Roellig had an RBI single and scored.
Derick Kim walked, scored, and his RBI single in the first inning tied the game at 1-1.
Jaxson Milius went 1-for-4 with two runs and an RBI.
Josh Adams singled and Aidan Dimas scored.
Michael Aleman went five innings and allowed one run on two hits to earn the win.
Aleman issued two walks and registered four strikeouts.
Wyatt Mohler was the LOHS offense on Monday.
Mohler had an RBI single, a double and a two-run homer.
