Quotable:

South Hills pitcher, Carson Baker: “I felt like all my pitches were working well today. Just throwing strikes was a big part of it. Right from the go, I felt like I was going to be able to go deep in the game. I am really confident in our pitching staff. South Hills has always been known for their pitching, but this season, we seem especially deep. I actually think of myself more as an infielder and a hitter, so I take pride in my production with a bat in my hands, and I’m pretty confident at the plate. It took a while for us to get going offensively, but Paxton and Richie helped put the game away.”
