Beatty Accounted for 165 of Bonita’s 180 Yards of Total Offense & Four TDs in Wednesday’s 27-6 Palomares League Victory Over GHS

Flag Football:

After a disappointing start to Palomares League play, Bonita picked up its first league win in 2025.

Last Tuesday, the Bearcats were on the wrong end of a 20-0 score at Ayala.

Fast forward eight days, and BHS dropped a 27-6 beating on their visitors from Glendora.

Bonita scored in the first quarter, and they never trailed.

Tressa Beatty accounted for 165 of the Bearcats 180 yards of total offense.

Beatty completed 17-of-26 for 138 yards.

She tossed four TD passes and did not turn the ball over.

Beatty also led BHS with 27 yards rushing on 10 carries.

Haley Kurey led Bonita’s receiving corps with five catches for 54 yards and two scores.

Laila Washington had three receptions for 24 yards, including one TD.

Peyton Lak caught an 8-yard TD pass from Beatty.

Laney Sweeney (2-for-20), Kody McKinney (3-for-15), Kendra Anderson (2-for-10) and Jenna Campbell (1-for-10) combined for eight receptions for 55 yards.

Grace Tolan led the BHS defense with six tackles.

Leah Reynolds had four tackles and an interception.

Madi Arzate picked two passes and had a pair of tackles.

Hayden Andrew totaled four tackles in the win.

Up next: The Tartans will host Monrovia on Saturday morning at 9.

The Bearcats host Claremont next Wednesday evening at 5:30.
