Flag Football:
Bonita jumped on Northview early, and they’d cruise to a 26-2 victory on Wednesday.
The Lady Bearcats began the week with a 18-7 victory at Don Lugo.
The Vikings’ lone score came off a second-quarter safety.
BHS led 14-2 at the half.
Tressa Beatty had one of the most effective outings of her senior campaign.
Beatty completed 15-of-20 for 210 yards.
The Bonita senior tossed three TD passes, and she was picked one time.
She also gained 15 yards on three carries.
Haley Kurey only had one carry, but it went for 45 yards.
Kurey also caught three passes for 89 yards and one score.
Peyton Mann reeled in a 24-yard scoring strike from Beatty.
Laney Sweeney (32) and Jenna Campbell (26) caught three passes apiece for a combined 58 yards.
Susana Ruelas had a 27-yard reception.
Hayden Andrew had 10 tackles, while Grace Tolan had five and Sophia Olivares had four.
Leah Reynolds finished with three tackles to go along with her two interceptions.
Up next: The Lady Bearcats will be back in action on Saturday morning with games against La Serna and Keppel scheduled for 9 and 11:30.
