Baseball:
Los Osos had one final game on Friday before opening the Baseline League portion of their schedule on Monday.
And the Grizzlies made the most of it.
LOHS scored four runs in the bottom of the second inning, and they got four more in the fifth to cruise to a 10-4 victory over their visitors from Hillcrest.
Osos out-hit the Trojans, 9-4, and they had leads of 4-0 and 10-2.
Aedan Holloway was credited with the win after going 1 1/3 scoreless and hitless innings.
Holloway walked two and fanned a pair of HHS batters.
Zenen Pena provided two scoreless and hitless innings in relief.
Pena issued one walk and registered four strikeouts.
Christopher Sampson went 2-for-3 and scored.
Nicholas Bernal walked and scored.
Ryder Dejournett went 1-for-2 with a walk and one RBI.
Matt Ramos drew a pair of walks and scored.
Nester Ramirez had an RBI ground out.
LOHS got four runs apiece off James Henson and Kai Ramirez.
Henson and Ramirez went two innings apiece, and they both surrendered four hits and one walk apiece.
Roberto Topete went 2-for-3 with a triple, run and three RBIs.
Hunter Meyer had a pair of doubles, one run and an RBI.
Josh Chairez doubled, scored and had one RBI.
Reagan Samples went 1-for-3 with an RBI.
Aaron Rojas singled and drove in a pair of runs.
Justin Yeutter walked, singled and scored.
Daniel Lopez walked, doubled and scored.
Preston Young and Bryce Anderson walked and scored one run apiece.
