Things looked promising for Wilson in their Valle Vista League opener.
The Wildcats scored a pair of runs in the top of the first inning at Covina.
However, the Colts answered with six in the bottom half of the inning, and they got nine more in the second.
CHS would cruise to a 19-2 victory in five innings.
Declan Bowers went three innings, allowing two runs on four hits.
Bowers walked two and fanned four WHS batters.
