George Jennings got the final three outs, including one via strikeout.
Peter Ruiz got the loss after allowing an earned run on one hit in the first inning.
MFHS roughed up Ryan Situ for eight runs on three hits and two walks in 2/3 of an inning.
Thatcher helped his own cause by going 3-for-3 with a walk, double, two runs and three RBIs.
Nate Callaway walked, doubled, scored a pair of runs and drove in one.
Jennings went 2-for-3 with a pair of runs and two RBIs.
Ben Muro walked, singled, scored twice and had one RBI.
Sandro DiClaudio, Ryan Pandullo and Trevor Lain walked and scored one run apiece.
Jayden Gutierrez singled and scored twice.
Adan Castro went 1-for-3 with a run and one RBI.
Kaden Mullins singled, scored and drove in one.
