Boys Lacrosse:
The Damien lacrosse team pulled off a twofer on Thursday.
First, they snapped their own three-game losing streak.
And secondly, the Spartans defeated Heritage, 11-2, to secure Ivy League victory win No.1.
Riley Africa actually outscored Heritage, 5-2, on his own.
Marco Sixtos contributed three assists and 10 ground balls.
Nick Frame had eight saves in goal for DHS.
Up next: The Spartans travel to Riverside Poly (0-3) on Monday evening at 6:30.
