San Dimas’ historic 2024-25 season came to an end on Tuesday.

The Saints fell, 60-57, in the first round of the CIF State Division 3 playoffs at Mira Mesa.

Three days prior, SDHS competed in its first CIF-SS title game in 26 years.

In spite of being 166 spots below MMHS in the MaxPreps state rankings, San Dimas gave the Marauders all they could handle.

The Saints had a 7-4 advantage in 3-pointers.

Nathan Yearout finished out his solid prep career with 18 points, including five 3-pointers.

Jeremiah Garzon, a rising star in the area, completed his sophomore campaign with 16 points.

Luke Chavez added 14 points and Andrew Diep had six.

Diego Ortiz scored a game-high 24 points for Mira Mesa.

Ortiz hit a pair of 3’s.

Tim Dorn chipped in with 14 points in the win.

Congrats to Coach Ketterling, his staff and their players for making their deepest playoff run since 1999.
