Tyler Garcia Hit 2 Home Runs & Drove in Four in PCC’s 13-6 Victory at LA Harbor; Lancers Secured Three-Game SCC Sweep

College Baseball:

PCC did what it was supposed to do this week.

They swept their three-game South Coast Conference series with the cellar-dwellers from LA Harbor.

Pasadena City College secured a 13-6 road victory on Saturday afternoon.

They improved to 10-4 overall, and 5-1 in conference games.

PCC outscored the Seahawks, 55-12.

On Saturday, Connor Campbell improved his personal record to 4-1.

Campbell went 6 2/3 innings, and he allowed five runs (four earned) on nine hits.

Campbell issued one walk and struck out five LAH batters.

Christian Hernandez singled twice, doubled and scored three runs.

Brandon Luna had a two-run double.

Andres Roman went 3-for-4 and scored one run.

Isaiah Aguilar had a two-run single for the Seahawks.

Emilio Brenes singled twice and scored.

Lance Miyazaki was charged with the loss after allowing eight runs on 10 hits over five innings.

Miyazaki walked one and fanned four PCC batters.

Tyler Garcia hit a solo HR and a three-run shot.

Garcia finished with three runs, a walk and four RBIs.

Bryan Richman hit a two-run HR in the sixth inning to extend the Lancers lead to 8-3.

Joaquin Salcedo went 3-for-5 with a walk, double, two runs and a solo HR.

Devon Eskridge had a two-run single.

Adrian Roman went 4-for-6 with a double, two runs and an RBI.

Isaac Ton singled three times, scored and drove in a pair of runs.

Devin Munoz went 3-for-6.

Evan Nahra walked, singled and scored three runs.

Thomas Villanueva singled and scored.

Up next: The Lancers travel to first-place (with Mt. SAC) Cerritos on Tuesday for the first of a three-game SCC set.
