College Baseball:
Chaffey College secured its first IEAC series victory over the 2025 season.
The Panthers earned a 4-2 victory at Mt. San Jacinto on Saturday afternoon.
After dropping the series opener, 13-9, Chaffey bounced back with victories of 12-0 and 4-2.
Joe O’Regan went four innings, and he allowed two runs (one earned) on four hits.
O’Regan issued two walks and struck out seven.
Ryan Harrison provided five scoreless innings and just one hit.
Harrison walked one and fanned six MSJC batters.
Justin Granado went 2-for-4 with a double and one RBI.
Derek Hurtado singled, doubled and scored.
Juni Rodriguez walked and singled in a run.
Easton Wagner went five innings, allowing two runs (one earned) on five hits.
He walked one and struck out five Chaffey batters.
Gavin Warner got the loss.
Warner surrendered two runs (one earned) on four hits over his 3 1/3 innings.
Ryder Young went 4-for-5 with an RBI double and one run.
Ryan Melton singled and scored.
Cameron Casado’s RBI single in the top of the fifth got the Panthers even at 2-2.
Dillon Smalls walked and singled.
Jayden St. Cyr, Joe Gilkeson and Eric Valdivia singled in the win.
Jayden Sanchez and AJ Hurtado scored one run apiece for Chaffey.
Up next: The Panthers will host Victor Valley on Tuesday in the first of a three-game IEAC set.
The first pitch is scheduled for 2.
