Boys Basketball:
San Dimas secured itself a three-way tie for second place in the Hacienda League.
SDHS needed and got a pair of final week wins over Colony and South Hills.
The Saints are 4-4 alongside Alta Loma and Colony.
On Wednesday, San Dimas claimed a 67-55 victory at South Hills.
They started both halves strong.
In the first and third quarters, SDHS outscored SHHS, 38-15.
Jeremiah Garzon led the Saints with 22 points.
Angelo Fares hit a game-best six 3-pointers, and he finished with 21 points.
Andrew Diep chipped in with 11 points and Luke Chavez had eight.
Cruz Valdez had a monster night for South Hills.
Valdez scored a game-high 25 points.
And that included five 3-pointers.
Sean Jones chipped in with nine points.
Issac Medina scored seven points in the loss.
Up next: The Saints will get their playoff pairing on Saturday at noon.
