Monrovia had a chance to put itself in position to claim a Rio Hondo League title win a Tuesday night win over their visitors from South Pasadena.
Unfortunately for the Wildcats, the Tigers ruined senior night with a 3-0 victory.
Instead, it was SPHS that headed home as the RHL champs.
South Pasadena took a 1-0 lead in the first half when Samuel Rodak scored off an assist from Emilio Gonzalez.

And that included a couple saves off the foot of Monrovia’s leading scorer, Micah Maljian.
