Girls Basketball:
Flintridge Prep earned at least a share of their third consecutive Prep League title on Friday.
The Wolves cruised to a 67-38 ass kicking over their rival from Poly.
Prep extended its Prep League win streak to 31 games.
With one game to play, they lead Rio Hondo Prep by one-half game.
After a relatively close first period, Prep went on a 37-14 run over the second and third quarters.
Maddie Smith had another big night.
Smith finished with 25 points, eight assists, four rebounds and four steals.
Akemi Fu chipped in with 10 points, four rebounds, three assists and three steals.
Hailey Louie added nine points, a rebound and one steal.
Olivia Childs provided six points, seven rebounds an a pair of steals.
Ayumi Fu contributed six points, two rebounds and an assist.
Harper Doyle led Poly with 16 points.
Jessie Yip scored eight points and Maggie Scholze had six points in the loss.
Up next: Flintridge Prep travels to Rio Hondo Prep on Tuesday at 4:30 in the regular season finale.
