Girls Basketball:
La Salle evened its Del Rey League record at 3-3 on Monday afternoon.
The Lancers claimed a 56-45 victory over their visitors from St. Mary’s Academy.
With two games to play, La Salle is one-half game back of second-place St. Anthony.
Casey Higgins hit a pair of 3’s, and she led the Lancers with 16 points.
Maddy Chiang, Kaden Cortes and Aislin Tamez Torres scored nine points apiece in the win.
Ebbony Wilson led SMA with 16 points.
Layia King scored 13 points in the loss.
Up next: La Salle travels to Bishop Montgomery on Thursday at 7.
