Charter Oak edged West Covina, 1-0, in a Valle Vista League contest.
The win allows the Chargers to remain just one-half game back of first place Wilson, and they host the Wildcats tonight.
Madison Watkins second-half goal was assisted by Melody Orozco, and it was enough to earn COHS its seventh win of the season.
Deandra Varela had five saves in goal.

The Wildcats lead COHS by one-half a game in the VVL standings.
