Girls Basketball:
Sierra Canyon cruised to a Glendora Tournament championship in dominant form.
The undefeated Trailblazers (13-0), ranked 12th in the nation by MaxPreps, defeated La Salle, 67-34, in Monday’s championship game.
SCHS outscored Glendora, Yucaipa, Sierra Pacific and La Salle by a combined margin of 298-124.
Jerzy Robinson had a game-high 18 points for Sierra Canyon.
Leisa Edwards chipped in with 11 points, while Ashley Redd and Emilia Krstevski contributed 10 points apiece in the win.
Casey Higgins paced the Lancers offense with 11 points, and Kaden Cortes had seven.
La Salle went 3-1, including victories over La Serna, Summit and Flintridge Prep by a margin of 165-97.
Most notably, they defeated the Wolves, 54-44, to hand Flintridge Prep their first loss of the season.
