How would Flintridge Prep respond after La Salle handed the Wolves their first loss of the season in Saturday’s semifinal round of the Glendora Tournament?

Prep defeated Sierra Pacific, 55-47, in the third-place game.

The Wolves outscored the Golden Bears, 42-33, through three quarters.

Maddie Smith had 18 points, four rebounds, 10 steals and five assists.

Akemi Fu chipped in with 15 points, 10 rebounds, four steals and two assists.

Megan Quoch contributed 12 points and four boards.

Asia Jackson led Sierra Pacific with 18 points.

And Apojak Ayuen scored 13 points in the loss.

Up next: The Wolves travel to Poly on Tuesday at 5:30 to resume Prep League play.
