Girls Basketball:
Flintridge Prep made Friday’s showdown at the Glendora Tournament look easy.
Roosevelt entered the quarterfinal round contest at 15-2.
However, Prep led by 20 at the half, and they cruised to a 60-48 victory.
Maddie Smith had 15 points, three assists and two steals.
Akemi Fu chipped in with 11 points, eight rebounds, four steals and a pair of assists.
Megan Quoch added nine points and two assists.
And Hailey Louie finished with eight points and two boards.
Mylah Lewis had a game-high 22 points for Roosevelt.
Makayla Haddock chipped in with 14 points in the loss.
Up next: The Wolves face off with La Salle on Saturday night at 8 at GHS.
It’s an SGV area power program showdown who have a combined record of 24-1.
