Boys Basketball:
Bonita opened the Classic at Damien Tournament with a 56-44 victory over Norco.
The Bearcats used a 31-23 run in the second half to give themselves a little breathing room.
James Kim hit a pair of 3’s and scored a game-high 23 points.
Hunter Smith chipped in with 15 points.
Ryan Ibbetson led Rialto with 16 points.
And Edgar Mojica provided 15 points, including two 3-pointers.
Up next: The Bearcats will host Chino Hills on Friday at 8:30.
