Girls Basketball
La Salle won its eighth consecutive game on Friday.
The Lancers cruised to a 75-45 victory over Schurr at the La Salle Winter Showcase.
LSHS had a 38-17 lead at the break, and the outcome was never in doubt.
Casey Higgins scored a game-high 21 points.
Emily Fong chipped in with 11 points.
Julianne Tan, Kaden Cortes and Sarah Fong contributed eight points apiece for the Lancers.
April Cabrera hit a game-high five 3-pointers, and she and Ligia Gonzalez scored 17 points apiece in the loss.
Up next: The Lancers will host Westlake (7-3) on Saturday night at 7.
