Glendora Opens Own Tournament w/a 74-30 Beatdown of Covina; Tartans Have Won Five Consecutive Games

Boys Basketball:

Glendora opened its own tournament with a 74-30 thumping of Covina on Monday evening.

The Tartans led 44-19 at the half, and the outcome was never in doubt.

Colton Gray had 18 points, six rebounds and eight assists.

Sebastian Demano contributed 11 points and four assists.

Max Hilgenfeldt chipped in with 11 points of his own.

Moshe Loucks added nine points, and Noah Rangel had seven for the Tartans.

Kaleo Penuelas led the Colts with 13 points.

Dillon Shibata finished with eight points, while Karsen Ulrich had four.

Jake Duronslet and Jeremiah Shaw scored two points apiece for Covina.

Up next: CHS will battle Ontario Christian on Wednesday at 6, and the Tartans face off with Keppel at 7:30.
