Girls Basketball:
La Salle won its fifth game in six tries.
And it wasn’t even close.
The Lancers cruised to a 73-20 victory over Wilson in San Marino Tournament play.
La Salle had an 18-point lead after eight minutes and they took a 45-11 advantage into the half.
Aislin Tamez Torres had a game-high 11 points.
Maddy Chiang and Alicia Rivera scored 10 points apiece.
Chiang hit three of the Lancers’ eight 3-pointers.
Casey Higgins contributed nine points, Sarah Fang added eight and Kaden Cortes chipped in with seven points.
Up next: La Salle will battle Oakwood on Tuesday at the Burroughs Tournament.
The tip is set for 8:30.
