Maliyah Estrada Passes for 506 Yards & 10 TDs in Tuesday’s 32-0 & 37-3 Ambassador League Victories Over Aquinas

Western Christian claimed season victories No. 22 and 23 on Tuesday night.

The Lancers defeated Aquinas, 32-0 and 33-7, in a pair of Ambassador League games.

With one game to play, WCHS holds a one-game lead over second-place Linfield Christian, and the Lancers and Lions meet up tonight in Ontario.

Game One Notes:

Maliyah Estrada went 19-of-30 for 271 yards.

She tossed five TD passes and no interceptions.

Mikaela Burchell had four receptions for 101 yards and one TD.

Grace Galdamez also caught four passes for 56 yards and two touchdowns.

Cass Serna totaled 32 receiving yards on three carries, including one TD.

Sofia Prentice caught a 7-yard TD.

Ten different receivers had receptions in game one.

Game Two Notes:

Maliyah Estrada completed 16 of her 24 pass attempts for 235 yards.

Estrada TD had five more TD passes and again, she didn’t turn the ball over.

Mikaela Burchell caught four passes for 45 yards and one TD.

Kyla Johnson had four receptions for 35 yards and one score.

Bailey Osborne totaled 42 receiving yards on two catches and one TD.

Grace Galdamez (1 for 23 yards) and Avri Bishop (2 for 8 yards) had one TD reception apiece.

Tara Ashtiani had a pair of receptions for 45 yards, and Charlotte Deon had a 35-yard catch in Tuesday’s second game.

Up next: The Lancers close out the regular season tonight (Wednesday) at 7 against their visitors from Linfield Christian.

WCHS defeated their hosts from LCHS, 26-18, in their first contest back on September 9th.
