Boys Water Polo:
Damien finished off its regular season schedule on a high note.
The Spartans traveled to RCHS to battle a Cougars program that entered the game at 18-2 overall and 4-0 in league.
DHS would head home with a dramatic 10-9 victory, and they improved to 5-0 in Baseline League play.
This Tuesday and Thursday, the six league programs play in a carousel tournament that will decide the Baseline League champion.
Kei Romo had a big game in goal,
Romo blocked 11 shots to go with his five steals.
Jonah Aguilera had a team-high four goals.
Lucas Gebhart found the back of the net three times.
Up next: Damien will go into the league tournament as the No. 1 seed on October 15th and 17th
