Charter Oak opened Sierra League play with a 43-3 ass kicking at Claremont.
The Chargers led 34-0 at the half, and the Wolfpack never had a chance.
The blaring stat of the night had to be COHS’ 137 to minus-6 yards advantage on the ground.
Torry Huff carried the ball 15 times for 102 yards.
And that included three rushing TD’s.
Corin Berry completed 11-of-19 for 218 yards.
Berry tossed a pair of TD’s and interceptions.
He also rushed for 23 yards on two carries.
Marquis Bradley had game-highs in receptions (5) and receiving yards (95), including one TD.
Antonio Reasby had a pair of receptions for 45 yards.
Sean Munoz reeled in three Berry passes for 41 yards and a TD.
Legend Lyons had one catch for 30 yards.
And Diego Flores tallied 29 receiving yards on three receptions.
Claremont’s Jerred Pocock had a rough night behind center for the Wolfpack.
Pocock completed just 12 of 26 for 142 yards.
He didn’t throw a TD and Pocock was picked three times.
Nathan Ordonez led the CHS ground game with four yards on two carries.
Doug Yegg (4-for-47), Ordonez (2-for-41), Luke Labbe (1-for-20), Gavin Marine (4-for-29) combined to catch 11 passes for 137 yards.
