What a finish.

With the clock ticking down and the game tied at 13-13, Bo Savoy scored to give West Covina a 14-13 victory over Baldwin Park.

After starting the season 0-4, WCHS has won four of their past five games.

Savoy led the Bulldogs with five goals and five steals.

Matthew Ugarte made 13 key saves.

Angelo Gregorio contributed four goals for the Bulldogs.

Adam Elhuessiney added a pair of goals, while Andres Javier and Devin Caballero scored one goal each.

Freshman lefty Lucas Liu also stepped up, showing promise.

Julian Juarez played a pivotal role, stepping up from the bench to lock down the defense throughout the match.

With this hard-fought victory, the Bulldogs are pumped and ready for their next challenge against Bosco on Friday.
