Girls Volleyball:
After dropping the first set in Wednesday’s Valle Vista League opener, Northview went on to defeat their hosts from West Covina in four games.
The Vikings won by scores of 19-25, 25-14, 25-13 and 25-19.
Megan Arellano had 13 kills and four aces.
Ava Frymark chipped in with six aces, 12 assists and nine digs.
Olivia Leanos provided 21 digs and three aces.
Beverly Franco had five aces and 13 digs.
Jennylyn Gozun finished with four kills and four aces.
Up next: The Vikings will host Charter Oak on Tuesday at 6.
